Paper Making.
For part of my final major collection I am Looking into using paper as a non traditional material to create pieces from; so far for this I have started by createing some paper of my own.
I created two pieces of plain paper just out of shredded white paper, however for the other two samples I used the same paper base but moulded this onto two different forms that I created using foamboard.
Here are the two moulded pieces.

With the other two bits of paper I am planning to manipulate them in a different way, possibly by using hand embroidery...which I will post once I have finished them!

New Project - Wedding Attire
Our Final Major Collection is starting!
After what seems liek an eternity of writing a Project propsal for the exam board I am slowly starting my project - Wedding Attire.
I have chosen this as it's what I want to do as a career. I aspire to be a part of the Bridal industry, creating bespoke gowns; so whats better than this to do for my FMC.
However, to make it different from the mundane copy of a floor length white dress I have decided to collaborate both mens and womens wedding wear to create a collection of womens wear pieces. I will combine aspects of each genders clothing together to hopefuuly produce some interesting outcomes.
